Job Description:
- Assist in running recreational programs that meet the interests of the residents.
- Engage new residents to determine their interests.
- Work directly with resident on the units or off Units.
- Assist the Recreation Director to set up programs area, implement and cleanup programs as needed.
- Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.
- Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.
- Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.
- Collaborate with Recreation Director to create/modify the recreation calendar and coordinate with outside parties to implement recreational activities.
- Be familiar with established emergency procedures.
- Delivered mail in daily basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must be upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a caring personality.
- Great customer service skills.
- Must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member.
- Basic computer/ data entry Ability.
- Previous experience as a Recreation Leader preferred.
- Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred.
- Bilingual is a plus (Creole, Russian, Chinese).
Shift and Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (9-5).
- 5 days a week (Mon, Tue, Thus, Fri, Sat).
- $18 per hour.
